maths problem :)

in maths we were given a problem to solve and that was mr smith brought 13 pencil packs in each pack there were 5 pencils inside how many did he buy. So i first did my times, because there were 13 packs and 5 in each so 13x5 i spilt the 13 in 3x5 and 10x5  and plused  the answer's together and got my original answer. :)

On Thursday in room 1 we had an inquiry activity on respect, On what and why and how respect is good to others and why. In my opinion i think respect is treating others the way you wanted to be treated with manners respectfully. during this activity the best part i liked was researching quotes and making ideas out of the quotes and adding more words or less onto this slide/inquiry activity.I think next time i could add more writing or text boxes:)

reading/literacy

today in room 1 we were doing reading/literacy on tigers, on this model text was about  facts and interesting  things about tigers. they leave their family at  the age of 2, and during the years  that they stay with their mother they learn how to hunt by watching there mum hunt animals. They eat meat and are mammals, My favourite thing of this reading/literacy was learning that one hundred years ago nine tiger subspecies and 100,000 tigers roamed rainforests, evergreen forests, and grass lands in asia.
